Thoughts taking hold in my heart
God’s Way

“Through surrender, I was reminded that where God rules, peace reigns. I honestly believe that our trials are often more difficult than they need to be because we won’t give in to God’s way.” Shana Schutte
A Place in My heart
“The words of Christ ought to have a place in us, the innermost and uppermost place, — a dwelling place, as a man at home, not as a stranger or sojourner, — a working place”; the words of Christ “must have room to operate, to work sin out of us, and to work grace in us”; the word made flesh “must have a ruling place”, His place “must be upon the throne”, Jesus “must dwell in us richly.” (Mathew Henry)
